Description
Fire Tonight is a narrative puzzle game set in 1990 following a couple’s quest to reunite in a city on fire.
Gameplay alternates between both major characters:
Follow Maya’s quest across a maze-like city set ablaze. Travel across rooftops while avoiding fires and solving light puzzles to keep moving forward and find Devin’s apartment.
Confined to his small apartment, Devin anxiously awaits Maya's arrival. He reminisces about their time together as he looks at all the mementos scattered around his place.
History
The game is directly inspired by the song “Fire Tonight” by the band Information Society.
This is the first collaboration between Way Down Deep and Reptoid Games, who have a shared vision to create a quiet, thoughtful and approachable game about a relationship that is challenged by extreme circumstances, but without stressful or taxing gameplay.
